Is all the artwork on the website original?

Yes we only stock ‘one of a kind’ original artworks on artwork500.co.uk. We do not sell prints, photographs or reproductions in ANY form.

What condition is the art in?

All works are relatively new pieces that the artists have produced lately and should reach you in excellent condition. Please read the details of the artwork before purchasing to familiarise yourself with the medium of the particular work and how it will be presented.

How do I know the artwork is authentic?

All artwork is supplied with a certificate of authenticity, signed by the artist.

How will the artwork be presented?

This depends on the medium. Canvases will generally be stretched and ready to hang. On occasion canvases may be unstretched and delivered rolled up in a tube which will then need stretched by a local framer. Works on board will usually need mounted and framed before you are able to hang them. Works on paper will either come rolled up in a tube or laid flat between boards, again they will need to mounted and framed before hanging and also behind glass. Please check product info on each artwork before purchasing.

Do the artist's do commissions?

Most of the artist are happy to do commissions. A deposit of 50% is required and balance due once artwork has been completed. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.

Do you offer discount when purchasing multiple pieces of art?

If you wish to purchase several artworks we may be able to arrange a discount. Please contact us to discuss.

What forms of payment does Artwork500 accept?

We are accepting payment with Visa & Mastercard. All credit cards used for payment must have a valid billing address.

Are my payments secure?

All orders are encrypted with Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology on both your end and ours. SSL encrypts all of your personal information including credit card number, name, and address, so that it cannot be read as the information travels over the Internet. In order for SSL to work, you must use an SSL-enabled browser.

For your own safety we do not save any payment information. Payments are made directly through Stripe—certified to PCI Service Provider Level 1, the most stringent level of certification, so we can guarantee that important information stays confidential and private.

Shipping & Return

How much is delivery?

We offer free shipping on all artwork within the UK.

Do you ship internationally?

We currently just ship within the UK but we will be shipping internationally in the very near future.

When can I expect delivery?

Artwork is dispatched directly form the artist’s studio within 5 working days. The shipping process then takes approximately 48 hours for UK deliveries. If you require your artwork urgently please contact us before placing an order and we will try our best to accommodate your requests.

Can you arrange expedited shipping?

If you require a piece of art urgently for a special occasion or a presentation contact us as soon as possible and  we can arrange expedited shipping in most instances.

Will I have to sign for delivery?

Yes all deliveries are tracked and must be signed for. It is important you check the packaging for any sign of damage before signing.

Can I try the artwork in my home and return it if I am not happy?

We understand the difficulties that come with purchasing art online and so we offer FREE RETURNS with our 14 day, no quibble, money back guarantee. If you are unhappy with your purchase for any reason you can return the artwork within 14 days for a full refund.

What if the artwork arrives damaged?

If on a rare occasion your artwork arrives damaged please contact us via email and include photos of the damage. Please retain all of the original packaging.. We will issue a full refund or if you prefer we can ask the artist if they are able to create another piece for you as close in resemblance to the original as possible.

How do I return an item?

We want you to be completely happy with your purchase so if the artwork is not as you expected or if you are at all dissatisfied just return your item in the condition in which it was received and in the original packaging provided and we will issue a full refund of the price paid. Please contact us via email within 14 days and we will forward a prepaid postage label for you to attach to the parcel and return to us.

Do I need to return artwork in the original packaging?

Always use the original packaging provided unless it is damaged, making sure the contents are secure. Although we cover the cost of returning the artwork to us, items are your responsibility until they reach us so please ensure the package is well secured preventing any damage to the item.

Information Collected or Received

Artwork500 may collect personally identifiable information, such as your name. Artwork may also collect anonymous demographic information, which is not unique to you, such as your age and gender. We may gather additional personal or non-personal information in the future.

 

Information about your computer hardware and software may be automatically collected by Artwork. This information can include: your IP address browser type, domain names, access times and referring website addresses. This information is used for the operation of the service, to maintain quality of the service, and to provide general statistics regarding use of the Artwork500 website.
