UnframedThis is an original acrylic painting on a stretched deep edged square cotton canvas of two elephant siblings.
Elephants are one of my favourite animals with their majestic size and mannerisms. I loved painting these young elephants with the elephant calf being particularly cute.
The painting was inspired by a visit to chester zoo and seeing the way the elephants interact together socially.
It is painted in a impressionistic and illustrative style which included Naples yellow,titanium white,raw umber and sap green acrylic paints.
This painting is finished with a satin based varnish and presented with a Certificate of Authenticity.
The painting measures 12 x 12inches in size
