Coffee Time

An original oil painting on Gessobord. Painted from life in my studio. It can take me some time to get up a composition for a painting like this. So many elements to  consider. Value , colour , unity , variety , spacing, harmony, balance ,and  lighting  etc. I find using my home made view finder and shadow box also home made very useful when setting up my still life arrangements . I try to keep my colours as clean as possible and give consideration to each paint stroke.
You will receive a certificate of authenticity with the painting. Size, title and date on the back . I finish my paintings with a layer of Gamvar gloss varnish.
