Dunstanburgh Castle, Northumberland

Dunstanburgh Castle is just one of a series of iconic ruins on the Northumberland coast. Rather than paint the castle on a bright summer’s day, I preferred to provide a more brooding look, with banks of mist rolling across the looming facade.
