Shropshire Union Canal

This original acrylic painting  depicts a scenic view of the shropshire union canal in Cheshire, England.

A beautiful blue cloudy sky reflects abstractly on the surface of the water and a blue canal barge is moored on the edge of the canal.

Along the side of the canal follows the towpath which runs underneath an old brick bridge where you can easily imagine a relaxing walk.

Painted on a stretched cotton canvas which is fitted with d rings and string cord.

Thr canvas is finished with a gloss based varnish and presented with a Certificate of Authenticity
