A racing wind and tide on Devon’s exposed Croyde Bay coastal area. The painting has been produced with tube oil-paint plus oilbars which are large oil-sticks containing a percentage of wax, allowing the painter to create extra textures. The oil-paper is a specially prepared type, aimed specifically at providing a smooth watercolour-like surface for the oil artist; but handling the oil content of the paint via its special buffering treatment. It can be framed just like any other work of art on paper.
The work will be packed flat and protected with card and papers prior to final dispatch.
