The low-lying Somerset Levels provide many opportunities to see glowing skies with delicate colours, all above the floodwaters and reeds. The evening-time enhances the skyglow and it is seen against a backdrop of silhouetted trees and sparkling water.

The pastel work is lightly fixed and will be protected with glassine paper, before securing between tightly-taped rigid boards, prior to final wrapping and dispatch. The boards prevent slippage during transit and buyers are encouraged to keep the pastel in these boards while awaiting final framing of their choice.
