Melling Art

Hello,

I’m  a traditional artist based in Oxfordshire, working mainly in oils on canvas – though I occasionally branch out to watercolours and graphite/charcoal. 

Portraiture and figures are my obsession. Trying to capture that fleeting emotion, that twist of a lip or crease around an eye is what drives me to keep exploring my craft. I’ve previously presented at craft fairs and a group exhibition in Norwich.

If I’m not painting, I’m usually walking my little dog around the English countryside or exploring Oxford’s crooked alleys and Medieval streets for quiet art galleries and museums.
