A level too far

This image comes with a story as follows….

The two brothers woke up, starting the day like those before; expected to be in hundreds of locations at once fighting continuously and just when they think they’ve succeded.

Another level.

At first they thought maybe death would bring them peace, but after realising that death eludes them, and finding after every attempt they would wake back up at the start – only to have to begin again – they concluded they where trapped in some kind of horrifying loop.

In anger Mario and Luigi lashed out at some trees, slicing them clean from their roots. Then Mario turned his attention to the small shelled creature wandering by, instead of his usual method of vaulting upon the creature, he took his Hammer and in a frenzy, crushed the being before him.

As blood began to trickle from various cracks and dents, the plumbers eyes turned red with rage and terror. As they looked around, they hoped that maybe this way there enemies wouldnt respawn and they could finally rest.

Without needing to say a word luigi pulled out a meat clever and chopped the head off the poor screaming turtle.

As his screams halted into dead silence,  other enemies of The Brothers arrived to see what all the commotion was.

Bowser immediately jumped towards mario scratching in his direction and catching his face.

Mario move slightly to the right upon Bowsers attack lunging at the same time and stricking a knock-out blow to Bowser’s horned skull.

In a scene of disgust, and at the exact same moment, Luigi sliced at Wario’s head with a swift  and clean motion from his cleaver and with his long sturdy arms, removed it from his shoulders in a single, foul blow.

He then found a branch from the tree’s they previously destroyed and stabbing through the throat of the head he place Wario in a prominant position for all to see before heading to Mario’s side who stared down at the unconscious Bowser.

With a look of sheer evil, mario uttered the words “Shall we?”

Without hesitation Luigi removed both Bowser’s legs at the knees, causing Bowser to scream in agony as he regained excruciating consciousness. He they struck a blow again to the neck removing Bowser’s head and throwing it onto a stump of a tree.

Mario and Luigi let out a gut wrenching cackle.

Something was definitely not the same within our reliable plumbers. They had finally snapped.

As they turned they saw more creatures – including a Goomba – heading their way. Mario launched into another tirade of violence, striking the Goomba upon head twice making his skull visible, he decided to then go a step further and remove an eyeball with the claw end of his hammer.

As the plumbers stood laughing at the head on the stump and eye dangling from Mario’s hammer. The rest of the creatures around started to flee. With tears streaming for there lost comrades now just corpses upon the ground…… To be continued….. Maybe…..

Like every good story this one has message, you see everything is perspective. And honestly two italians plumbers going to kidnap a princess from her very safe locations murdering all those along the way… Surely is an interesting perspective. However it also makes it clear that one bad guy to you, may be a hero to another.

Perspective is everything.
