Come Sit Awhile

This beach painting captures the evocative feeling of deck chairs. They’re timeless, and inviting, and remind us of summer holidays throughout our lives. They suggest long, lazy summer days, beautiful views, time to sit and do nothing, and special time spent with loved ones. I spotted these deck chairs on a beach in Lincolnshire, but they reminded me of so many family holidays.

This is a chalk pastel painting on sanded paper. It is ready to hang in a white frame with acid free white mount.

It measures approximately 38cm by 30cm (framed dimensions).

The frame is white wood, with a high-clarity plastic safety glass to ensure minimal glare and so it isn’t damaged in transit.

The painting is signed on the back as well as in the corner on the front. It will be delivered carefully packaged in bubble wrap and in a sturdy cardboard box.
