Outside the Cotton Club

A very atmospheric , colourful,  fantasy painting , based loosely on a real old black/white photo, view from the 1920’s. of the iconic Cotton Club theatre club in Harlem, where most of the  greatest Black jazz and Swing  musicians and singers of that era, from Duke Ellington, to Billie Holiday, performed.  Dig those great old taxis outside.  One for fans of  US jazz and Swing  music perhaps.
