Poppies Under a Blue Sky

I love the way poppies grow wild all around me in the Lincolnshire coast and countryside, adding a pop of beautiful colour wherever they appear. They look so fragile yet they seem to grow anywhere – in the cracks in the sea wall, in the sand, and holding their own amongst a field of cultivated crops. This original chalk pastel painting is ready to hang in a white frame with acid free white mount. It measures approximately 30cm by 38cm (framed dimensions). The frame is white wood, with a high-clarity plastic safety glass to ensure minimal glare and so it isn’t damaged in transit. The painting is signed on the back as well as in the corner on the front.
