Waiting to Spawn

On holiday in Canada, I was captivated by the expressions of these salmon. They were in a glass sided tank which was part of a system allowing them to migrate upstream to breed up the side of a dam. They obviously found this a good place to take a breather but they all had a very determined and focussed look in their eyes. This is a framed oil painting – framed dimension is W21.5xH17.5″
