Fogbound Venice

A dramatic , rather surreal , atmospheric, spooky, fun fantasy representation of Venice during Carnival under thick fog – with traditionally costumed revellers making their way to the annual Venice Carnival festivities.  Venice has often been just like this on my  winter visits ! The location, such as it can be seen in the fog, is actually in Piazza San Marco, with its well-known line of impressive iconic street lights.  Painted on a 0.6 inch deep box canvas – painted round the sides , so is ready to hang as is.
