UnframedNeuschwanstein Castle in Bavaria is the iconic fantasy castle. Built by “mad king” Ludwig II, it probably inspired Walt Disney’s fairytale castle designs. Certainly photos of it are well-known everywhere. It’s well worth a visit too, The countryside around is fantastically beautiful and great for hiking.
