Summer Down the Lane

This landscape painting is of a pretty lane in the English countryside, with all the frill of cowslip, and the deep shadows from the bright summer sun. I love English summers. They can feel so brief so every moment is precious and to be savoured. I love capturing the nostalgic, ‘old fashioned’ feeling of a beautiful English summer in my artwork.

This original chalk pastel painting is ready to hang in a white frame with acid free white mount.

It measures approximately 30cm by 38cm (framed dimensions).

The frame is black wood, with a high-clarity plastic safety glass to ensure minimal glare and so it isn’t damaged in transit.

The painting is signed on the back as well as in the corner on the front. The painting comes with a certificate of authenticity. It will be delivered carefully packaged in bubble wrap and in a sturdy cardboard box.
