This painting shows women dressed in colourful clothing, marching. In the sky, there are military figures juxtaposed, as if to show that militarisation is coming.

An example of this could be South Africa. Once apartheid was abolished, the society (at least on paper) was liberated. However, due to the current laws and military/gang presence, modern-day apartheid can still be seen in many parts of the country
