Andy Thompson

My name is Andy Thompson and I’m an abstract artist based in East Devon in South West England. I work in acrylic and mixed media including fillers, paper, cardboard and anything I can find lying around! My art in three words? Textured | Colourful | Thoughtful 

My influences/loves range from Kandinsky and Paul Klee to Mondrian, the Bauhaus movement etc. They also include the contents of my head and go on to include my eldest son, Oliver. Oliver is an art teacher and so went through many painting phases. I inherited his love of art and his ‘art studio’, the shed at the end of our garden when he left home
