Currently creating from her hometown in Newtownards, Northern Ireland, Emily was born in 1996 and has been painting ever since she was a child. Her love of art grew tremendously during her time at Regent House Grammar School, where she spent most of her time at school in an art classroom. In 2014, her piece ‘Shower Thoughts’ was selected to be displayed in the ‘Creative Peninsula’ exhibition, where the piece attracted a great deal of attention. She then went onto Queens University Belfast where she studied Food Quality, Safety and Nutrition. Between university commitments, working and enjoying university life she didn’t find the time to paint, but after her graduation decided to pick up the brushes again and begin this new venture.
Her work features wildlife, agricultural animals and pets and she often paints in the garden. There she is inspired by the nature surrounding her home by looking across the fields and lough in front of her.
