Stevie Langford’s artwork predominantly focuses on distinctive nudes, dynamic seascapes, and vibrant wildlife pieces.
Stevie is a Cornish artist based in Belfast. Her love of art was influenced by Cornwall’s scenic coastline and abundant wildlife. She soon began to focus on using the body as a subject, delving into life drawing and figurative painting.
Stevie was influenced by the rugged beauty of Jenny Saville’s nudes, by the vibrant colours of Matisse and by the stunning boldness of Rembrandt’s chiaroscuro technique.
After moving to Northern Ireland, she became enamoured by the stunning coast, landscapes and art scene that the island has to offer.
Stevie predominantly focuses on acrylic painting but also experiments with oil, as well as graphite for figure drawing.
